The Inn

 

Reichelshofen and the Brauerei-Gasthof and Hotel Landwehr-Bräu are above the romantic Tauber Valley, not far from Rothenburg ob der Tauber.

Reichelshofen is located on the former Post Road from Würzburg to Rothenburg, and long ago was a posting inn. It is known that Franconian beer has been brewed here from 1755 on.

 

This hotel is known for its unique atmosphere, tradition, and warm hospitality. It is consistent with its multi-award winning cuisine. All this makes for a stylish experience.

The Guest Rooms

 

Four cosy and individually decorated guest rooms, and the hotel's spacious terrace demonstrate the traditional connection to our region, along with Franconian hospitality. The owner's passion for collecting antiques and charming decorations is also evident here.

Cosiness and perfect service complete the picture and guarantee a pleasant stay.

  • The Old Guest Lounge, with its heavy coffered ceiling and wall panelling, conveys the charm of past centuries, making it pleasingly cosy.
  • The Biedermeier Room has proper style, including its materials and matching accessories.
  • In the Fichte Room, the bright wood breathes with a rustic touch of alpine cuisine
  • The Magarete Room offers larger groups, family gatherings, and conferences enough space, and the seating is individually tailored according to the users' wishes. This room also contains the already-described musical clock.
  • The Maria Theresia Room is for celebrations and smaller groups.
  • Our terrace next to the entrance is very popular in the warm season. The chestnut trees provide perfect shade
  • Stylish elegance in our Fireplace Room. It has its own lobby, ideal for your festive needs. It is often used for larger celebrations and meetings, and can be adapted to your individual wishes.
       
 

We offer the stylish cuisine in all our lounges, such as in the Old Guest Lounge, the Biedermeier Room, or the Fichte Room.

The Magarete room, the Maria Theresia Room, and the Fireplace Room are especially available for celebrations.

The Cuisine

 

The kitchen team, under the guidance of chef Wilfried Hahn, creates a sophisticated cuisine with regional and seasonal dishes at their finest, from fresh local produce primarily from the region.

The quality of the food and  the Landwehr-Bräu beers are representative of the Franconian lifestyle.

Whether it is "only" a Frankish light meal with sausages from our kitchen, or a complete set meal with selected ingredients, our menu offers something for all tastes. It is rounded off by the high-class, freshly-tapped Landwehr-Bräu beers, and a well-stocked wine list.

Lovers of sweet temptations should not miss the dessert menu selection, an area that our chef is particularly versed in.
